There is a version of joining a law firm and keeping your head down. Humaira chose a different approach. Admitted to the Bar in July 2024, she completed her pupillage under Datuk Megat Abdul Munir and went straight into live matters, civil litigation, construction & energy disputes and banking litigation at the High Court and Court of Appeal. 

She is in the early stages of a practice she intends to take to partner level and the work so far reflects that intent. Outside the office, she competes for Phalanx Thunder Handball Club at tournament level. The motto she carries into both arenas is the same one: tactics over theatrics.
