Fazrin brings over three decades of corporate and boardroom experience to ZMM, having built his legal career from founding partner roles at Messrs Azwar & Chen and Messrs Michael Chen Gan Muzafar & Azwar before spending twenty years as Managing Partner of Messrs Azwar & Associates.

His practice has centred on corporate advisory, banking and conveyancing work, with a track record that includes assisting in the restructuring and listing of companies such as Poh Kong Holdings, Tong Herr Resources and IRIS Technologies, and supporting DRB Berhad’s acquisition of HICOM Berhad.

He currently sits as Independent Non-Executive Chairman of several Bursa Malaysia listing candidates, including SKA Capital Berhad, Stratus Global Holdings Berhad and AMS Advanced Material Berhad, alongside a long-standing chairmanship at Benalec Holdings Berhad.

Fazrin joined ZMM as Consultant in January 2026. He graduated with an LLB (Honours) from Universiti Malaya in 1991 and was called to the Malaysian Bar in 1992. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia and a Chartered Audit Committee Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors Malaysia.
