About

Construction law attracts practitioners who can hold complexity without collapsing it. Fakhruddin came to ZMM with a foundation that most construction lawyers don’t have, dual degrees in Law and Shariah from IIUM, pre-practice experience in strategic consulting, regulatory research and asset management and an internship background spanning foreign direct investment frameworks and financial compliance.

He has since been involved in advising on infrastructure tendering processes worth hundreds of millions and a consultation on an infrastructure matter exceeding RM2 billion. He co-authored the Malaysia chapter for Lexology In-Depth: Construction (2025) and presented a paper at an international law conference in Ho Chi Minh City on ASEAN legal frameworks.

Time stoops to no-one's lures.
