Shahir brings litigation experience to Zain Megat & Murad, with a diverse practice spanning civil and commercial disputes, defamation and industrial relations. He has handled high-profile mandates, including serving as part of the legal team acting for the Chief Commissioner of the MACC as well as for a sitting Prime Minister.

A seasoned litigator both in and out of the courtroom, Shahir handles appellate advocacy before the Court of Appeal. He is highly effective in alternative dispute resolution and negotiations, frequently securing consent judgments and amicable settlements.

He is currently pursuing his mediator’s licence to further enhance his dispute resolution capabilities.

Outside of his legal practice, Shahir serves as the Honorary Secretary of the Malay College Old Boys Association (MCOBA) since 2024/2026 term.
